The Fault in Our Stars

I just finished reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. It was — in a word — perfection. Just utter perfection. The characters are just so perfectly real and honest. It’s been a long time since I have so voraciously consumed a book — every time I had to put it down I couldn’t wait to pick it back up again. Sweet, sad, honest, and downright heartbreaking at times — I shed more than a few tears, but also laughed out loud. Apparently the movie rights have been optioned, but I would be so skeptical of such a movie. The words in this book, I’m sure, resound differently in each persons’ minds… putting it to film just seems unnecessary. I’m personally in love with my own interpretation of Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster and I’d like to keep it that way. 😉 But really — go grab up this book, NOW. You won’t regret it.
